Alumna Against Anti-Semitism

Yeladim of the USA hosts lecture featuring Alumna Deborah Lipstadt

On Sunday, October 22nd, Yeladim of the USA will host a lecture with alumna Deborah Lipstadt with a Q-and-A forum to follow. Dr. Lipstadt is currently a History professor at Emory University. Dr. Lipstadt is the author of several books about the Holocaust and anti-Semitism. Recently one of these books, Denial: Holocaust History on Trial, was made into a movie. Denial is about using historical facts to prove the Holocaust happened. Dr. Lipstadt will be discussing her book as well as current trends in anti-Semitism and ways to continue to grow and nurture our Jewish community. Invited are several Holocaust survivors in the community. The lecture will be at the convocation center at Emory University at 7 p.m. Yeladim of the USA anticipates over 400 attendees.


About Yeladim of the USA

Yeladim of the USA was founded in 1955. Yeladim is the largest Jewish youth group organization in the United States. Our groups strive for three things: Friendship, Tikun Olam, and Tradition. In 2017, there are over 100,000 members to date. Yeladim of the USA alumni consists of prominent businesspeople, politicians, actors, and artists. Yeladim of the USA groups host monthly meetings year-round, yearly Tik Days, and yearly national retreats.
